About Legions

Legions was founded in January 2011 by head coach Dave Phillips.Over the years, we’ve produced numerous champions — from English and British title holders to European and World Champions — who have competed across the globe, including in Australia, China, Thailand, and Brazil.We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly gym that welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to some of the top fighters in the UK.Outside of competition, the Legions community has raised over £115,000 for the York Special Care Baby Unit through our fundraising activities.All our coaches are first aid trained, DBS checked, and fully insured, ensuring a safe and professional training environment for everyone.
